Harry Potter

School holidays are almost over, the kidlets return to school on Monday morning.

On Friday my sister & I took them down to Sydney to see the Harry Potter exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum.

No photography allowed inside the exhibition unfortunately, but we found these huge posters outside & took photos of the kids in front of them.

Niamh looks like she's about to have a duel with Harry in this shot.

And Connor looks like he has a wand to head, he should look a bit more worried about that.

Love this one - my sister took this shot of Row while I was taking a photo of Niamh behind them.

I've always wanted to try riding a penny farthing, but this is the closest I've ever got.

  1. Cute pics! Even my kids would be thrilled at such an exhibition and they are 18!

  3. It was a fabulous exhibition, if either of you get the chance to see it, get there. My favourite parts were the potions lab (I think I must be an alchemist at heart), and being able to see the costumes up close. Some of them are amazing for the detail, like Gilderoy Lockhart's from the second movie.

Rowan loved one hands on part - repotting mandrakes. Luckily they weren't as loud as in the movie.

  4. I'd love to see the mandrakes! Their herbology and greenhouse parts in the story were always a favorite (which is why I really love Neville so much!)
Come by when you can to pick up an award:)
